Why might data read by OCR be missing or wrong?

OCR reads the MRZ lines on the photo. If
the photo is blurry, tilted or has glare, some
characters may be misread or fields may be
missing. That is why we recommend
checking records created by OCR and using
NFC whenever possible

Can my customer upload their passport themselves?

Yes. By entering the customer code, they
can scan their passport via NFC on their
own phone, and the data comes straight to
your system.
