Why it's popular for Umrah and tour programs
- A shorter Makkah–Madinah journey: A trip that usually takes 5 to 6 hours by bus takes about 2 to 2.5 hours by train.
- Straight from the airport: Pilgrims landing at Jeddah airport can continue to Makkah or Madinah by train from the airport station.
- A more comfortable ride: Especially for older pilgrims, it is a more comfortable option than a long road journey.
- More time for worship: With less time on the road, pilgrims spend more time in Makkah and Madinah.
